Which "lenses" did you clean inside the unit. It would seem that you have misalignment of the lcd panels or the phase setting may need adjusting. What input are you using and what vertical frequency is the signal using?
first vac and clean vents for proper air flow if still coding with unit unplugged remove cover and check fan for blockage if good and still fan code test fan, if bad fan is replaceable most electronics or some computer stores should have it if u want to diy can use serial&model number of projector or numbers on the fan
can you take some pictures of the optics and send them to me ? this could be a circuit fault or a defective run from the manufacture, you will half to identifie whether it is optic or circuit related, try and place a piece of color filter opaque paper between the optics and try to notice the changes on the screen this may give you an indication which element may be faulted, or if it is electronic
Have your projector professionally cleaned. It is dust in the inside optics. You should not attempt unless you are very skilled. if you are going to do this yourself have a lot of compressed air on hand.
Sounds like you need to clean the lenses and reflective area inside your set. It is easy and all you need is a screwdriver, windex and a paper towel. UNPLUG YOUR TV. Take off your screen and screen protector and safely set them aside. Clean only the lenses ( glass part) and the reflective mirror type area on the top of the inside of your set. It will look like new. You need to do this at least once a year.
I t may be a dust or somebody before you tried to clean it and didn't make optical adjustement. Its very tricky to disasembly and if you want service manual conntact me at [email protected]
Unfortunately an expensive repair or total replacement are probably your only real options. Electronically the projector is fine but your problem lies in the physical optics part of it. Either part of the lense assembly or the refraction array is likely damaged or at least very dirty. I wouldn't suggest trying to clean it yourself as this is a 3 LCD projector and all 3 must align perfectly after cleaning or you'll end up with seperated colors. It could also be one of the LCD's is damaged but from your description I don't think so.
I have a client that had the exact same issue with a different VPL model and it was cheaper to go out and buy a new projector than to fix it.
