Hello
Just try the following to unlock your Apex TV.
Apex TVs use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The override code for many models is 6688. Other sets may not have one, or may have a default code of 1225 instead of an override code.
No matter what the V-chip code is set to, the override code will still work. If you have a blank screen with a red key on the bottom left, simply press the (function or F) button and the mute button at the same time. This will unlock the screen and allow you to view the channel as desired
OK.
My remote doesn't have a function or F button. Should I just buy a universal remote that has a function or F button?
Hello
To get it unlocked, you must have its original remote control. The process I mentioned will work only with that. You just try to buy one original remote. Send me the remote control model number now you uses, and let me check whether it works with your Apex to unlock it. OK.
Hello
If your remote control hasn't the [F] fuction, try the 5 proceedings mentioned just above. Anyway there will be a menu button. Isn't it. Proceed the last four steps and try it responds to override code '6688'. If not enter '1225'. But before entering each code you must switch OFF and switch ON your tv, with it front panel power button itself, [NOT BY THE REMOTE CONTROL HANDSET]. This is a notable thing. So many Apex tvs has unlocked through this process and testimonilals are given to me from their owners. OK.
Hello
You just send me the Brand and Model Number of your present remote control you uses with Your Aped TV, and let me know what it can do with your TV. Even without an orginal remote control handset, the above said override code process should work. {F] function pressing in only intented to original remote control if you have. That's all. OK.
