I am trying to set up belkin n600 but my internet connection is a usb from verizon how to do i connect?

Reset the Belkin router -
To reset the Belkin back to the default settings -
Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the router and then power for at least 15 secs. Then release the RESET button.
Connect a LAN cable from Belkin to your laptop/computer's LAN port, open a browser on your laptop/computer and enter the Belkin's configuration URL. http://192.168.2.1

That's been a problem for years. Sleep mode turns off USB devices, and they seldom wake when the computer is activated again. To make sure this isn't the problem, you can

• Go into Device Manager and under each USB Device, Power tab, disable "Let this device turn off to save power".
• Edit Sleep Mode to not control USB devices.
• Don't use Sleep Mode.
• Unplug the adapter, wait a few seconds, plug in the adapter.

If none of these help, try a self-powered hub. The internal power supply lets you use about 500ma for each USB device, but some draw more current than that. The self-powered hub can deliver what's actually needed for the devices.

I don't have an old modem........what should I do to configure my new belkin F9J1001v1 router+modem

I think you need to connect your printer to the router using an ethernet cable and not a USB cable. Ethernet cables are plug-and-play cables and doesn't require you to install a software. If you really need to connect your printer using a USB cable, you need to connect it to your PC so that the PC will run the installation wizard to install the USB cable. Of course the router cannot run installation wizard to the printer or the printer cannot run installation wizard to the router.

If you are wirelessly connecting you need to use a wireless card that supports dual band.
and then changnig the settings on the wireless card helps.
if you are wired the issue is with the router settings.
Upgrade the firmware on the router

you might try moving your computer closer to your router
make sure your routers and your dell 1450 settings are correct ie:password user name,firewall settings to allow your internet to connect also test the lead/s whether usb or ethernet if applicable

ok what you will have to do is go to control panel and unistall all the software for the belkin then you will have to reinstall the software when you install make sure you only hook up the router to the computer and get it to work then you can hook up the xbox and the ipone you will have to set up port forwerding for the xbox to work correctly.

i bought this router earlier in the year. after trying to set it up and having problems i called belkin, who told me to call my internet supplier. virgin tried but couldnt help and told me ring belkin again. after trying everything they told me for about an hour and still no joy, i took it back to the shop.

Wellll....since it seemed an impossible task, I tried the next best thing.
I bought a wireless adapter for the other pc and voila! they are on the internet, and I am returning the router.

Westell modem + Verizon DSL w/usb = No connection to router.
