Have you confirmed this by trying to use your MSI RIGHT NEXT to the router? Degradation in signal can lead to connection interruptions. If your laptop functions like the other two when you get close to the wireless router (the device that puts out the wireless signal) then that means there is just too much stuff in between the laptop and router when you try to use it, therefore causing signal interruptions. The radio waves put out by wireless routers are typically not able to go through many solid objects.
If this isn't then problem, then try updating your drivers for the wireless adapter in your notebook. Go to MSI's site, go to their support section, and download the wireless adapter drivers for your model. Hopefully that clears it up.
Good luck.
For you to setup and get a wireless connection at home what you need is a modem and router.Once you have thos devices it will be ready to go for wireless connection. Thanks
Be sure that the "wifi" switch is turned on. Many of the less expensive laptops just disconnect the antenna with this switch instead of disabling the xciever.
However as you said Desktop works fine and this seems to be issue with Wireless Netwrok card of your Laptop try to upgrade drivers of the Wireless netword card opf your laptop and this may possibly resolve the problem..
