What isthe proper coffee to water ratio

Most coffee brewing sites say to use 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for 6 ounces of water. Since the grind can vary, they also say to use 10 grams of coffee per 6 ounces of water. Going by weight ensures the proper ratio.

If you're making coffee for yourself, of course, the proper ratio is whatever gives you the taste you most enjoy. Start with the 10g-to-6 ounces ratio and adjust as desired. Not all roasts and beans brew exactly alike.

Don't forget to keep your coffee maker clean, and use filtered water. This can have a great effect on the coffee's taste.

Instructions of decalcifying - specifically what is the water/solution ratio?

From page 18 of the owner's manual: 125 mL of Durgol plus 34 ounces of water. Since 1 mL = 0.0338 ounces, that's 4.2 ounces of Durgol in 34 ounces of water, or an 8.1 ratio.

Coffee to water ratio

Weak coffee is 2 tsp per cup strong coffee is 3 tsp or 1 Tbls per cup. (3 tsp per Tblsp) 32 Tablespoons = 2 Cups, there are 4 Tblsp per 1/4 cup. If you're confused ( I am from reading my answer) Use 1 cup for weak coffee, two cups for strong or 1 & 1/2 for regular strength coffee. Hope that helps!
