How do you turn a Cannon D780 Cannon Copier on I can't find my on off switch No lights in the machine after a power outage.

Since the problem occured after a power outage,you should try resetting the H code.

Press CLEAR, EXPOSURE MODE, CLEAR, EXPOSURE MODE. The display should go blank. Then enter 14 with the copy count keys and press START. If the machine does not turn off and back on by itself - then turn it Off and back on. See if the H code should vanish and your copier should work well.

1. Turn the machine OFF.
2. Press and hold the STOP key.
3. Power the machine ON and release STOP after 5 seconds.

You may just have a bad cartridge. Replace it.

E800= ADFerror code
ADFisn't getting it's 24 volts dc.
Firstcheck the connector that it hasn't come loose. Then check thedocument feeders open/close switch that it is working properly. Checkfuse F6 on the power supply.
Chechkswitch in the back right hand corner of the ADF --- these switcheshave been known to go bad (even on new machines).

E codes are usually paper jams take out paper drawer and look for jammed paper if you dont see any unplug copier from wall and plug copier back in somtimes this wil force paper trapped in copier out as it powers up.

The magnetic switch was stuck due to power outage / contactor are spark connect the contactor stuck together .Magnetic switch to replace.

System error 000 means a fault occured 4 times in a row. You can reset this fault code and the copier should start working again. I assume you had other fault codes before you received this one, otherwise you would of never got the 000 code. To reset this code, you need to go into service mode. I dont have the instructions at this very moment, but I will get them and post them tomorrow.
