PULL
THE PLUG ON THE DRYER OR TURN OFF CIRCUIT BREAKER. The reset switch is
between two wire leads that go to the thermostat and you will probably
shock yourself if you try to push the button with the power on. If you
open up the right side access cover on the dryer, then you can see the exhaust tube. It is about 5 inches in diameter and (looking through the
right side access port), it will be sloping up from left to right as it
runs from the front of the dryer to the back. You can see another
exhaust tube further away from the port and lower down, but the one you
are looking for is closest to you and higher up. If you look back toward
the front of the machine (left), you can see two wires hanging down
from the opposite side of the exhaust tube. The wires run to the
thermostat which you can also see on a bracket standing off the exhaust
tube. In between the two wire leads that run to the thermostat is the
reset button.pull
off right access port cover, look in and left for thermostat hanging
down off of exhaust tube. Press button between the two wires going to
thermostat. It is a 3 minute operation if you can get to the right
side access port.
