Hello there,
Try plugging your kingston usb thumbdrive to a different usb port and see if the system detects it. If it does not, try restarting your computer then try it again. You can further isolate the problem by plugging the kingston to another computer's usb. If all did not work, then your usb thumbdrive is fried due to not being able to properly disconnecting it from the computer (doing a "safely remove").
