My Samsung smart t.v. isnt connecting to my n600

Samsung has lost it's smarts Eh!
If using a cable..Check the Cable or change the ethernet cable.
If it's wifi then verify the wifi signal with a smartphone.
It's SSID should show up in your phone's wifi settings.
Change the settings to DHCP and it should figure it out on restart.

Without further detail it's a bit awkward...

Good Luck

I am trying to change the ssid to something more sensible (i.e., "myname network") as there are numerous wifi networks locally. But when I "apply changes" the update appears to be working for the duration...

You are changing the ssid so if you are using wireless you will lose the wi fi connection and would need to disconnect wi fi and then search wi fi networks for the new ssid and then connect to it.
you could connect by ethernet cable till you get it right .

Wifi problems v3-771

Inside most laptops, there is a WiFi Antenna. I once also had an issue with my laptop allowing me access, and then flicking off again. So every time I tried to use a program called "Steam" I would be disconnected from the servers. Inside the laptop, there is a wire that is attached to the WiFi receiver, that gets plugged into your laptops motherboard, If it is loose, just disconnect it completely, then plug it back in. If the antenna is warm, or hot. That means it is burnt out, and will continue not to work unless it is properly cooled. You CANNOT cool a WiFi antenna, so it is best to either search the web, and buy a new WiFi antenna that is the same model and brand as the one in your laptop, or just buy a LAN/Ethernet cable and play like that.
*NOTE - When you first buy a Ethernet cable, the laptop WiFi antenna must be removed, otherwise the laptop will switch between the two, and will make you periodically loose internet connection. Also, the computer will still (not as much) continue to disconnect, and reconnect for a while. Roughly 8-10 days, and then everything should smooth-en out. Here is a link to an image of a WiFi antenna for laptop:

Or, yours may look something like this:

My wireless card light comes on but I still am told by the diagnostic that it is off how do i fix it so i am unable to connect to the internet I recently installed win 7 ultimate from vista and set up net...

Right click on the wireless internet icon on the lower right of your screen. Then left click Troubleshoot problems.

If that doesn't work, go to Device manager, network adapters, find your wireless adapter then right click on it and then select uninstall device. Restart the computer and it will find the port & reinstall it for you.

My Belkin Play N600 won't connect to my Blu Ray player????

Why is Everybody talking about changing the SSID and password? There is no need for that. That is such a wast of time. But yes, if taking the action restoring the router with a hard reset yes you can configure the SSID and password of your choice. But if you are aware of your WiFi SSID and password (and I'm sure you do) then it is not necessary. As for this WiFi complication, you have to consider how your WIFi home network is set up. First off, WiFi is similar to a cordless phone connection. Farther you are away from the receiver the weaker the connection will get.. And just like a cordless phone connection, WiFi uses the same radio frequency 2.4GHz. connection. Also, devices such as Blue Ray, PS3, PS4, and X Box 360, require configuring the port forward settings to enable full features as to what the device can offer. Reason for this, your ISP disables certain ports due to security measures and vulnerability upon home network use. No need to worry about security issues because when dealing with these devices which require extra open ports, we configure that device only to have the access of those needed ports. Other than that, will also consider how many networks reside within your area with how many neighbors have there own home 2.4GHz home networks. Reason for that being is due to the 2.4GHz limited amount of channel frequencies which is only 11 channels. Your routers 2.4GHz radio wave will occupy 1 out of any of those 11 channels Fq Cyz and because of this there can be various amounts of other 2.4Ghz networks using the same channel which causes wifi connection problems for all networks smothering one another within the same channel. Due to that fact, the 5GHz Wifi Connection has been introduced but the disadvantage to that connection is how limited the distance you have to be as well how most devices are not compatible with the 5Ghz connection which does not detect the signal. So by fact, WiFi is a very vulnerable connection. The only connection that is reliable is ethernet (Direct connect).
As for your Blue ray not connecting, make sure that blue ray can detect the SSID your home network is broadcasting. Also consider how far the router is from your BR. If you see your ssid within the settings while you are attempting to connect to WIFI, it should display a signal and if it shows weak, you may have to make a couple of adjustments as to move your router or blue ray closer to one another or consider a repeater to enhance the WiFi connection within your home. If you need a tech to help please call tech support with your ISP.

Hi

Though Belkin play router has a USB port on it, it would not accept the input via that port there by you can not connected the USB connection from Verizon to the router. You need to switch from USB connection to Ethernet connection on the Verizon modem contacting verizon.
