Press the "mode" button (bottom left) until the display says "HS" then press either the top right or bottom right button (depending whether you want to advance or ****** the hands) until the hands point the correct time.

When you have finished, press the mode button until the display returns to normal.

If you have any problems, (I have given you instructions that apply to my Casio, which is a different model, then you can get instructions for your model from the Casio web site.

HOW TO SET DAY / DATE ON AN ANALOG (STEM) WATCH

mcdevito75 here, Over Forty (40) years ago, watch manufactures added, to some of their ANALOG (wind up) and almost all of their DIGITAL (button display) watches the FEATURE of the, MONTH or DAY of the WEEK and the DATE, not only was the time of day available but also the DATE which you no longer had to go searching for, it was readily available on your wrist. The PROBLEM came with SETTING the CORRECT MONTH or DAY of the week and the DATE as some MONTHS HAD 31 DAYS rather than 30 DAYS, this meant you had to CYCLE your watch at least 62 times to get to the CORRECT DATE and mant times, when you finally did reach the CORRECT DATE, the day of the week was off, meaning more CYCLES thru the 24 hours.-------- HERE is the EASY way to SET the MONTH or DAY / DATE on your QUARTZ / MECHANICAL (STEM) watch without haveing to go thru the 24 hour cycle so many, many times. Not only is this, WEAR on your fingers, you can also damage your watch with some many cycles of the 24 hours to SET the correct MONTH or DAY / DATE. ------ HERE ARE THE BASICS,---------- Your ANALOG or STEM watch either QUARTZ or MECHANICAL should have a TWO (2) position STEM we are only familiar with the ONE (1) position we use to set the TIME, there should be TWO (2) positions to the STEM. First pull out the STEM to adjust the MONTH or DAY depending on your watches display, if your watch DISPLAYs the DAY of the week, set the DAY to one (1) DAY before the DAY you want, don"t worry about the DATE (number) yet. Once you have the MONTH or DAY set, push the STEM back into the watch, NOW with a finger nail just under the STEM (usually from the back of the stem as there is more room) gently lift the STEM to it"s first position, It may take some practice so be patient, once the STEM is in it"s first position you should be able to turn the STEM to adjust the DATE (number), if so Adust the DATE (number) to ONE (1) DATE before the DATE you want, This way your watch will be adjusted to change the DAY / DATE at the correct time. Once you have the DATE (number) adjusted to ONE (1) DATE before the DATE you want, push the STEM back into the watch, NOW pull the STEM out to adjust the time, go thru the 24 hour cycle to adjust to the correct DAY DATE (number) and time of day.------------ Your QUARTZ or MECHANICAL (stem) watch is now adjusted to the correct DAY / DATE and will change at the correct hour which is generally 12--1 AM.

How to set day on non digital george watch

I'm not familiar with the George watch but analog (non-digital) watches typically have a stem with which you set the time and the day. On most watches the stem has two clicks when you pull it out (gently). The first clich should set the day by rotating the stem counter-clockwise while the second click sets the time. On wind-up watches this stem also winds the watch when not pulled out.

Date set

The winding stem of the caravelle has two positions when pulled outward from the case. Pulling it full out lets you set the time. And, by rotating the hands through successive twenty-four hour periods it resets the day of the week. Pulling the stem halfway out allows you to set the month, but only if you rotate the stem in a counterclockwise direction..

New battery inserted.digital part of watch shows correct time.clockfave shows different time.also the 2 buttons on the side when pressed in do not come out again

First, take the back off the watch and make sure that the movement is inserted correctly. When buttons dont come back out it is usually the movement in the case wrong or the back is put back on wrong. If it is a pop off back then you want to be sure the dimples in the back are over the stem and crown and buttons so they move freely. Also, be sure that any springs that were in place are still in place.

Now i dont know what brand or model of watch this is but most digital analogs have a stem and crown to set the analog. Pull out the stem to the first position and set the time.

For specific instructions please leave the brand and model.
Thanks!

Setting day/date on kenneth cole dual time watch I have a Kenneth COle KC1336 watch with analog hands, 2 digital displays, and it is also a stopwatch. Can't figure out how to change the day/date.

first, unscrew the stem lock. Then you can pull it out to the first "click". That is the "manual wind mode" if for some reason the auto-wind is not working due it has run all the way down. Pull it out again. That is the time set mode. The next "click" (pulling it out again) is the date set mode. Once you have them set, push the stem back in (past all clicks) and then re-screw the stem back to the lock position.

Changing the DAY on this analog watch.

On some analog Timex watches with a day/date window there are only two "pull-out" positions on the stem, one for changing the date and one for the time. To change the day you need to pull the stem all the way out and crank the hands through 24 hour periods until you get the day correct. Be sure that you have the correct AM/PM setting (if you are setting the watch after noon you need to advance the hands another 12 hours so that the day changes at midnight)

Changing the DAY on this analog watch.

Turning it backwards didn't work on my watch. I ended up winding the time ahead several days worth to show the right day of the week (being careful to turn it to the correct 9 o'clock of the day, for me is was the first for morning.) Then I could go ahead and change the date using the first click postition of the stem.

I see that light bulb going off and you whispering "why, of course!"
