I have an Omega Model 6022 Sewing machine that will only sew in reverse. Don't know what to do. Can you help or give me a phone number that I can call in America?

Reverse is effected by changing feed dog engagement. Try lowering and raising feed dogs to see if problem clears.

You might also try to clean the bobbin, hook, and feed dog area with a vacuum to remove any debris.

I cant get the tention right what numbers should the 3 knobs be ever three or 4 stitchs are slack or all of them i dont no what knob is for the top stitchs and which is the under neath

Forget the three knobs for tension adjustment, only the top tension knob should be about 4 or 5, you should be able to pull the bottom thread through on the bobbin with slight resistence, if it is too tight slacken the screw on the bobbin case anti clockwise about a quarter of a turn, pattern selectors stitch length and width work independently of the tensions.

I have a necchi sewing machine. How and where do you insert the bobbin in model 525fa

if you have a snap in sewing table remove it first
at the bottom in front of the needle plate area is a bobbin case door
when you open it there is the bobbin case & also should be the feed dogs
always keep the bobbin area clean of lint or loose threads
take note of how the bobbin case is inserted in the bobbin area,, see where the thread tail is at on the bobbin case
then make sure the bobbin is wound correctly or it can cause sewing problems
reinsert the bobbin into the bobbin case the same way it's removed

I also have a necchi sewing machine, the base of your is like the base of mine, if you need a picture of inserting the bobbin,, send me a comment with your email address & I will send you a picture of the threading the bobbin case & inserting it

Top thread too loose, brings up bobbin thread. Tried to adjust, but cant get it right. Have manuel, but cannot locate it currently I have The Omega model

Hi. If the bobbin thread is coming up on top, then the upper tension is too tight. Try loosening it.

Hi. The best way to adjust your tension is to use good-quality thread, a size 12 needle, and different color threads in the bobbin and on top. That way, it's easier to see which thread is loose. Sew a few inches, check, and adjust (make sure the pressure foot is DOWN). Stitch a few more inches, recheck, and adjust some more. Just move the adjustment knob a little bit each time.

You might also want to use a bit of unwaxed dental floss and floss the tension disks. That helps get rid of any old lint and pieces of thread that build up in there.

As a last resort, you might need to adjust your bobbin tension. There is a very small screw on the bobbin case that tightens/loosens the spring/lever. If you need to adjust it, only move the screw a tiny bit. But, like I said, this is only a last resort--almost all adjustments can be done by adjusting the upper tension.

Hope this helps!

Bobbin case on my 524fb necchi has come apart

Almost all Necchi use a class 15 bobbin & bobbin case, a new case should cost around 7 to 10 dollars!
