I have emachine desktop t3604 everything is running but it wont let me go pass the emachines logo. I guess the mouse is not lighted up or the keyboard so my guess there is something wrong with booting. I turned it off for the day and its the same problem today.

How do i change boot order on emachine t3604

You will need to change the boot order in the bios set-up.
Turn your computer off, and turn it n again (alternatively Restart it) These things may be initiated by clicking the Windows button at the bottom left of tour screen, and from the shut down drop down menu selecting the appropriate option) As your computer is starting up, and the Emachines logo appears on the screen
"Press the "Tab" key repetitatively: If that fails to take you into the BIOSsetup, repeat and try either the "Escape," "Delete," or "F2" keys instead of the Tab key.
Once in the BIOS setu[p, Look through the options until see Boot order, and then change that to CD first, HD 2nd. Exit the BIOS setup with save changes option. Done.

My emachines t3604 starts up and all the fans are running but doesnt boot up and keyboard and monitor are not working. Replaced the ram but that doesnt work any ideas.

Try downloading puppylinux, burn it onto a cd then boot from the cd, if everything works fine, then you need to reinstall windows.

You will need to repair the Windows installation. Put the original discs (restore discs) in the PC and when it asks you if you want to install or repair, select repair.

Emachine t3604, computer shut down. then restarted showing hard disc error and it never started again. the only thing that shows when booting is the e symbol with f2 or f10 options for Bios. then it goes...

Hello,
I'm sorry to say this but your hard drive may be faulty and need a replacement. Your files might still be retrievable but you will need to take it to a repair center to get it retrieved or plug it as an external hard drive and try to retrieve data yourself. But nevertheless, it seems like your hard drive gave in and will need to be replaced with a new one..

Thanks,
