hello,

wha this means is that ,
there is disconnection from the element (heat provider ) from the wire that supply power on to the oven what need to do to fix up your oven back to life is to unscrew it from the key (stroll) and trace the wire down to the element it is silver in colour

please note, before you can carry out this assignment you will have to put off all form of power supply connected to the oven

You probably already know, but the wattage is 800. There should be a sticker or plate on the back or underneath the unit with some specs.You can also try calling Sanyo Fisher service for more info at 800-421-5013 Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 5:00PM PST

Most that say no oven cleaner have a self clean. If your does not. Take ammonia and wipe inside down and set a bowl of it inside over night. This will help a lot. One of my grandmothers tricks. It works great.

Sounds like the magnetron has failed. This is the component that produces the microwaves that heats the food.

The cost of the magnetron is about 95% of the cost of a microwave oven. Most people don't, for this reason, replace the magnetron, they replace the whole oven which is probably what you will end up doing.

There is a possibility that the circuit that provides power to the magnetron is faulty and you need to take it apart, find the proper electrical leads and test them with a volt meter. To do this you have to remove it from its mounting and take it apart. It is a fairly lengthy process however.
