How can i format my memory stick in hp ipaq 6915

If you can remove the memory stick and you have a multi-card reader, then you can use a PC to format the memory stick. If you don't have a multi-card reader, you can buy one from [here].
  1. Insert the reader into a free USB port and wait for your PC to recognise it.
  2. If given the option, choose to view the folder, otherwise double click My Computer.
  3. Right click the icon that represents the memory stick (depending on your setup this may be labelled as drive E, F or G).
  4. Choose the Format option.
  5. A new window will appear, choose Quick Format and your memory stick will be formatted.
WARNING! This will wipe the entire contents of your memory stick, so please remember to take a backup first.

Hey I have 1GB Memory Stick and can't send music or photos on memory with program sony ericsson pc suite when i turn on my phone it says Warning! All content on Memory Stick will be lost ...

you can try some data recovery software. You can see
http://www.asoftech.com/adr/
It tells the steps how to perform data recovery.

If above does not work, you may have to format the memory stick (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory stick and recover your files.

When i turn my phone on it comes up a message warning all content on the memory stick will be lost format anyway i enter the code and it says formatting failed i am unable to use any fuunction which needs...

For some reason your memory card is not being read properly by the phone reader. To undo that remove the card and use it in the PC and see if it can be read there. If yes then copy all the contents on the PC. Then use it in the phone and even if it is not read there, let it be formatted as you have your data safe in your PC. When the phone starts reading it then you can rewrite the data to the card.

W850i memory stick

hi there,
I dropped my sony in water once and the screen stopped working completely , I had to replace the lcd screen myself in the phone, (which isnt that difficult with a sony ericsson , it damaged the lcd screen but not the rest of the mobile...so this sounds like your software has been corrupted or the memory slot contacts have developed a fault from the damp
Try the master reset function (remember this erases any security pin numbers you might have put into the mobile) and see if the problem persists. If your brave enough ? like me ! you could strip the phone down and blow it dry with a hairdryer (set on low temperature), look for gunk on the memory card contacts and clean these off with computer solvent cleaner and a cotton bud. Then update the firmware and the software from sony ericsson's website. But I have a feeling , that the water got inside and this has coated one or more of the contacts for the memory card with the same thing , that you get inside a kettle, literally scale has formed on one of memory card contacts.
