First restart your Toshiba laptop. Press either "F1," "0," or "F8" to be taken to your computer's hard drive utility screen. The key command differs depending on the model Toshiba computer that you own.

Select "Restore Original Factory Image" from the list of options in System Recovery. Verify that you want to continue the process by clicking "Yes," then click "Next".

Restart the Toshiba laptop once the factory restore process has been completed. You will be prompted to enter information such as the date, time and language preferences.

Feel free get the reliable technical help at http://www.vtechsquad.com/toshiba-support/ for troubleshoot all kind of Toshiba PC(laptop/desktop/notepad).

I have a toshiba satellite a215 s7422, i tried to restore it to factory settings using the recovery discs, but i get and error message: 03-EEEE-0000. any idea how to restore my pc.

Hi,

Formatting the drive first before reinstalling should resolve the 03-EEEE-0000 error for you.

If you need more instruction post back with what operating system you are trying to restore.

Activating crisis mode for toshiba satellite a215-s7422

If you mean safe mode, as soon as you turn on the computer start pressing the F8 button about once a second. That should bring you to the safe mode option.

You should be able to download individual drivers by going to http://support.toshiba.com, but if you are looking for a copy of the original disk I would suggest trying ebay or the following website.

Notebook will not read restore cd

Hmm...try taking the hard drive away from ur laptop and use a ''hard drive caddy'' to connect it via usb to another pc.Then format it and try to recover again. It might also be a bios error wich i don't think you can replace on a laptop motherboard. Also try contacting toshiba for a replace or refund if in warranty.
