We got an E3 error message on induction cooktop(induction hob), AEG 88101 K-MN, which followed a popping sound. What could it be? We checked the braker and fusers.

I was boiling water on the right back burner as well as the front left burner on the power setting. I heard a pop and then got the message E3. It tripped the breaker downstairs. We left it off for a while and then put it back on and checked the panel on cooktop. The message stayed the same. First it shows E3 then all of the elements show E. Do you know what this means?
