Hye,I have a big problem. When I start my computer there is always a message on screen that is " You may be a victim of Software Counterfeiting ".Please suggest some solution to remove this problem.OK..........

you have to uninstall windows and office for your convenience and to remove that piracy warning. after reinstalling your software, DO NOT register your copy of windows nor your office online for the serial key may be blocked or blacklisted.

Usually this will appear if you are using a retail version. You can follow the steps mention in the below link and check if the problem is gone?

That message ("you may be a victim of software counterfeiting") is displayed when your Windows serial number is being used by someone else. If your copy of Windows is legitimate, try contacting Microsoft support.

It sounds like you have illegal software and the real way to fix this is to pay for the real thing! The message will definitely disappear when you become "legal". The notification should explain how to pay for appropriate software.

Just close this, it is not a Windows program. I opened it and got a virus.

To temporarily bypass the problem you can do a system restore to a date before you started having the problem.
If that does not work, boot to safe mode after downloading and installing HijackThis. Start Hijack this software (utility to modify registry values) and scroll down registry entries to the line that says “020 - Winlogon Nofity: Wgalogon - …” select it, and click fix checked.

If you think that your isystem is counterfeit and you had been victim of a scam you should contact the person that sold you the computer, and then contact Microsoft.

If you are referring to a message you got when starting your computer, that is due to your computer having an invalid key (not one given by Microsoft). When XP first came out, lots of "discount" computer sellers were illegally putting XP on computers with fake keys. Most likely you have one of those. You can get a free key from Microsoft if you can prove you bought the operating system, and where you bought it from. Microsoft will take that information and go after the place you bought it from if they're still in business. Otherwise, they do have an option to buy a legal copy.

This means the Windows Validation Tool has checked your installed copy of Windows and has found it to be a non-genuine copy. This means the product key is non valid.

Where did you get the PC? If a "friend" installed Windows for you then he is using illegal product keys.

If you are sure your Windows is genuine, you need to telephone Microsoft and fight it out with them.

What ever you do,don't waste you time and get talked into by microsuc to pay twice for a key then what you can buy a legit copy for. But make sure you buy one. Just because gates is the richest
man in the world for there underhanded ways,and locking you into problems. Kinda of like thieves. Now just because there are a thousand company's who's founder should have 4 times the money then gates does,but don't because they where human and not thieves and steal ideas just to get rich. Still means that you need to buy a few computers because if the mobo breaks and you don't get it replaced with the same exact one you have to buy it again.

Its too bad that a company like ford that built this country,didn't
act like micro, then they would be 1000 times richer then gates.
