How do i fix channel 73 & 90. I have got a picture but no sound.

on your tv go to menu & somewhere there it will say scan for channels so it will scan for about 5 mins then grab your remote & turn to channel 73 & there you go . if not try moving the tv to a different source like AV or YDRB

contact your cable provider, this issue is not with your television

i had same prob untill i pluged it into a wall antana went auto setup australia DTV only and i got 7, 73 ,70, 71 , 90, 99,9,10,1,11, when pluged into a portable tv antana i lost 7, 73 ,70, 71 so that how i fixed my problem

Wewould be happy to help get that fixed right away. The first thing we want toensure is that all connected equipment is on. You mentioned that your TV is on channel 60, to confirm this turn off the TV then turn is back on and note the channel or inputthat appears on screen when the TV is powered on, if the TV is not on channel60 or 73, tune to 60 or 73. Then Access "Modulator Setup" from TV1 by pressing"Menu", 6 for "System Setup", 1 for"Installation", then 5 for "Modulator Setup". Tune TV2 tothe channel that appears under "TV2Out" on screen. If still no picture and the mode for TV2 isset to "Cable", change it to "Air" and change the channel on yourTV2 to 60, if it is already set to "Air" then change it to"Cable" and change TV2 to channel 73. If the issue is only on one receiver, unplug the DISH receiverfor 10 seconds and plug back in. The next thing we want to check is theconnection on the back of your receiver labeled "Home Distribution",this cable carries the picture all the way to your TV2. Start by removing theconnection and screwing it back in, make sure all the connections going to yourTV2 are hand tight. These steps should get your TV2 up and running.

Hello, My sister had the same problem, contacted LG, they wanted, the serial number, model number, and sent a usb with up-dated software, she plugged it in at the side of the tv, and it worked.Please contact them yourself, sure you will, get the help you need. Regards, Joni

I ended up ringing LG who we got our plasma tv with and they sent me out a usb device that I plugged into my tv and now I get sound!

that is because you do not have the correct input connected or the set needs to have a channel program redone

The Deluxe may have more efficient speakers....which would cause it to sound louder. Also, the EQ settings could play a part in this. If the EQ's aren't set the same there could be a noticeable difference in sound.....usually the mids can have quite an effect on overall amp volume....

Set the TV to cable tuning mode and use that channel 73. You have it set for air now so it can only tune to channel 69.

it sounds like the tv is already in cable mode, and that it is a older tv. some older tv's will only tune in so many channels. yours going up only to channel 69. if you have the remote for this tv, try punching in channel 73. if it doesn't tune in, then the tv will not recieve channel 73.
