In my opinion turning on circuit breaker first is ok. First to determine what is tripping the breaker. Isolate what is on that circuit. There are always different ways of troubleshooting.

Electricians can be so much fun can't they ? LOL I would ask the electrician to bypass the remote to check the fan operation first. You need to know if your problem is the remote or the fan itself.. A simple wiring change in the junction box can be done to determine which issue to focus on.. Hope this helps..

THE NEC NOW REQUIRES YOU TO INSTALL A 4 PRONG PLUG 10-4-WG WIRE CONNECTED TO A 30 AMP DOUBLE POLE BREAKER THE PIG TAIL ON THE NEW STOVE MUST MATCH THE PLUG SO THE ONE OFF OF THE OLD STOVE WILL NOT WORK GET THE 4 PRONG PLUG AS WELL THE WALL PLUG WILL BE EITHER A FLUSH MOUNT OR A SURFACE MOUNT AS TO SAY IN THE WALL OR ON THE BASEBOARD SURFACE REPLACE WITH THE SAME AS YOU HAD BEFORE IT IS LESS TROUBLE IN THE LONG RUN THIS SHOULD ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS THE ELECTRICIAN NEEDS TO KNOW IF NOT LET ME KNOW

SOURCE: Compressor not wired, no schematic or instruction in manual

There is a schematic under the cover of the elecrtrical connection box. Remove the top of the box ( typically one nut on top of the pressure regulator) and look under the cover you removed.

Good Luck

EAGLE PERFORMANCE 4818 battery charger, pops a circuit breaker when plugged in.

You have a dead short to earth. That should be fairly easy to trace using a multimeter.

There don't appear to be any wiring diagrams online, so try the distributor direct.

WHERE DO I WIRE THE 24VAC CONTROL WIRING TO THE CONDENSER ON A LIEBERT 3000 air-cooled system at the condenser????? the manual is not specific

The control wires need to be connected to the power relay in the electrical box. The power relay is the switch that feeds hot 220vac to the cold side of the compressor and internals 220vac side.
Hope this helps. Kind of generic but should be obvious after you open the electricals cover. There is probably a wiring diagram on the inside cover.

Need a diagram to hook an aircomprerssor for air bags to relay a toggle switch

What is your control voltage? Does the compressor have a pressure switch? Single pole or double throw? AC? DC?

If you mean for airbags for suspension, the heavy conductor(s) to the compressor. is what you will wire to the relay contacts- normally open "N/O" is marked on relay diagram on relay or it's schematic with installation kit. You only need to interupt the hot (+12 volt) side.

And the coil of the relay is simply one side to ground/chassis where ever is convenient, the other side to the switch you want to control the relay and then the other terminal of the switch to the source, either the battery, or the switched accesory power buss on the power distribution center under the hood.of the vehicle.

I have a fedders a/c heating unit that I have been using for about 10 years without a problem. The A/C is now just blowing out air - no coolness. Do I just need to add Frion or can somethign else be wrong?

when you turn on unit can you hear the compressor kick on or is it just fan . I you can hear compressor kick on then most likely you do need a boost of freon but if you can just hear fan without compressor its either freon or compressor is bad or the little secret mechanics dont like to tell??? No joking check the wiring going to compressor pull off the cover where connections are and inside there is a little round surge relay that goes bad often. Its a 10.00 part at any local a/c supply company or you can just bypass that relay but make sure if bypassed that you have the run and start wire on the right peg the wiring diagram will show that if nothing else call a appliance company to come out and total repair bill if it is that relay should be 80.00 hope this helps

1996 Eagle Summit blows A/C fuse under hood when A/C is turned on

when a fuse blows like that it means the circuit is drawing too much amprage. usually this is caused by a bad electrical connector or ground. look at the 2 wires going into the compressor fing the connector and look for discoloration or cracking of the insulation. unplugg it and look inside both ends for corrosion or discoloration of the connector inside the plastic. locate the ground for the compressor also check that for corrosion and discoloration /cracking of insulation. also locate the relay check those connections for same replace the relay while your there the'r cheap. check any other connections in the circuit between the fuse block and the ground for that circuit. find a wiring diagram for it. they are verry helpful, saves alot of chasing wires cause there usually bundled up in a wiring harness also they show you where all the connectors are.
