This is not a bulb issue it is a issue with the optical engine, a very expensive repair. I might not waste the money on this fix, 500-700 to start. Good luck

it seems like the green was not defective before you replaced the green. remove the red =no change in the screen color, that could be bad. put back red, then remove blue=screen color changed, blue is good, hope you got the idea.
You have something on the lens. If the lens was producing excessive heat it could be the melting around the lens itself, or it could be grease from your finger that was clear until it got hot enough to cook onto the glass. Either way, remove and clean the bulb lens (the one on the bulb you change out when the bulb blows) and then re-clean the focus lens on the front of the projector (the one you turn to focus).
If this doesn't clear it up, look for damage on the focus lens or the bulb lens.
you have a light engine problem its a warped blue lcd plate
it will require a light engine change out ou might see if you have your reciept and get your model and serial and call sony and see if there is still assistance for this problem
Most likely it is the Blue CRT Driver Board or the Blue CRT failing. There is no quick way to varify unless you call a repairman out to see.

xenon bulb has two electrodes and they will erode away if the bulb is old. The color that you see is probaby the erotion of the electrode mixed with the inert gas and metal halide. All HID bulb will change color over time. For example a brand new 4300K yellowish bulb will eventually turn into a 5000k color bulb which is purple and white
If your bulb is not too old but the colour has changed then that means your bulb has premature problem. Frequently switching on and off the bulb can age the bulb by up to 50%.
I strongly recommended to change both bulbs, so they have even color.
Not sure what causes it but it can be fixxed by your local repair guy, I just had mine fixxed for under a hundred bucks, he takes the back off and with a tiny screw driver adjust a few screws to near brand new perfect picture.. and it has been good ever since
my sony is 4yrs also it has blue dots on the left side from top to bottom and a blue blob on rt. bottom corner no longer under warr. please send repair solution.
