My panasonic camcorder is sdr-h40 i can't load my videos in to my pc sence i've upgrade my computer from windows xp to windows 7 my sd card/hard disk video camera software video cam suite 1.0 is not compactible with windows . What can i do?

from this link you can download the software and then install... then connect the usb cable then u can transfer the photos and videos ...

I Have a panasonic sdr-h40 handy cam....i dont have the usb connection wire to down load to my pc. Is there some way to transfer the data onto a sd card and use this method???

if your computer has a sd slot should work,you should just get the cord,then your set,doesnt cost much

sorry it doesnt look as if its compatable with mac.... you may just have to get a larger SD card and record on that if you want to transfer to your mac

Hi, the VideoCam software isn't compatible with Windows 7, but you can still copy videos and pictures to your computer and edit or view them with other software. Videos are saved by default as MPEG-2 files, and photos are saved as JPEG files -- both of these formats are recognized by a wide variety of programs. (For example, Microsoft's Picture Viewer, which comes with Windows, can display JPEGs, and Microsoft Office Picture Manager can edit them.)
