When power on, red light flashes 4 times. No picture or sound unless power on many times. Eventually picture and sound come on and are perfect.
Your tv had a problem.if you have a knowledge in electronics, check or replace the horizontal transistor beside the plyback. it is a black square parts with 3 pins.

Sony KV-24fs100 does not power up. Red light flashes 4 times. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting to no avail. Suggestions?
In my case, the Power light doesn't come on. Stand by/Timer stays flashing all the time. I have cable and have to use Comcast's Remote Control and it takes several attempts before the TV starts.
