I have a ps2 slim scph 90004 2B and l have burna DVD-R disc with freedvdboot all slim versions English but when I try to play it in my console, it shows "No data found".... Can anyone help me pls....

If you have burned a DVD-R disc with FreeDVDBoot for PS2 Slim and are getting the "No data found" error when trying to play it on your console, here are some steps you can try:
  1. Verify that the disc is burned correctly: Make sure that you have burned the disc correctly and that there are no errors or issues with the disc itself. Try burning the disc again at a slower speed, and use high-quality blank discs.
  2. Check the file structure: Make sure that you have followed the correct file structure for FreeDVDBoot. The files should be placed in the root directory of the disc, and you should have the "INSTALL" folder and "BOOT.ELF" file.
  3. Check the compatibility of your console: Make sure that your PS2 Slim model is compatible with FreeDVDBoot. Not all PS2 Slim models are compatible with this exploit. You can check the compatibility list on the FreeDVDBoot website.
  4. Try a different exploit: If you are unable to get FreeDVDBoot to work, you can try using a different exploit, such as FreeMcBoot or SwapMagic.
  5. Take the console to a professional: If you are still unable to get the exploit to work, it may be necessary to take the console to a professional technician or repair shop for further diagnosis and repair.
Remember to always follow safety guidelines when working with consoles and discs, and to use caution when modifying your console.

Can the ps2 scph 90004 region code breakable if so how

There is more than one model of PS2, and more than one PS2 DVD player module. For some models or modules, only a Messiah 2 or Magic 2 chip installation will make them region free.

However, many can be made region free, for free.
Try this Tip for the steps:

Playstation2 Region Free Fix

I hope that helps.

Which multitap do I buy?

There were two versions of the multi-tap made; one for the original fat PS2 and a smaller version made for the slim. The two versions are incompatible with the other PS2. If you have the original multi-tap connected to the slim, it should throw out the 'controller disconnected' message when you boot up. The slim version of the multi-tap should have a sticker on the bottom saying 'only works with models SCPH-70000, SCPH-75001, SCPH-75002'.

Other than the sports games, I don't recall any titles that allow more than two players anyway.

PS2 Modded Trouble Reading DVDr's

Your DVD potentiometer pot on the back of the PS2 laser lens needs to be readjusted. Some people will try to tell you it's out of alignment but if that was the case it would not read CD's. Some people will try to tell you the laser lens is bad. If that was the case it would not read CD's. On the back of the laser lens are two potentiometer pots. In english? Two lil screws that are turnable. One controls the power of the DVD laser one controls the power of the CD laser.

http://www.cyber-mag.com/station/laserV9.htm

That link will give you pretty lil pictures of what i'm talking about :)

In a nut shell the story goes like this folks. If your PS2 won't read certain game DVD's that are of a certain color or if it all of a sudden mysteriously fails to read games it once read but will play cd's just fine, the voltage of the laser for DVD's is not set correctly. (this does needs manual tweeking from time to time if you take your ps2 and move it around alot or if you take it over to friends houses etc etc. Basicly alot of movment in general can take this out of alignment. Even keeping the PS2 on it's side could theoreticly (just my opinion) based on gravitational pull, unbalance the potentiometer.

RESOLUTION:

Step 1 identify your PS2 version:

Version 1 - SCPH-30001, 10 screws on bottom of case, serial no. starts with "U1"
Version 2 - SCPH-30001, 10 screws on bottom of case, serial no. starts with "U0"
Version 3 - SCPH-30001, 10 screws on bottom of case, serial no. starts with "U2"
Version 4 - SCPH-30000, 30001, 35001, 30002, 35002, 30003, 35003, 30004, or 35004, 8 screws on bottom of case

NOTE: Version 4 has 2 varieties of motherboard: Gap/No Gap, the difference between v4 "Gap" and v4 "No Gap" is the "Gap" is there's a spot in the center of bios chip where each side lacks solder points.

Version 5 - SCPH-30000R, 30001R, 30002R, 30003R, 30004R, or 30006R. Also, some SCPH-30000, 30001, 30002, 30003, and 30004 models have a V5/V6

NOTE: Version 5 & 6 - the difference between these two versions is one of the connectors in the corner.

Version 7 - SCPH-39000, 39001, 39002, 39003, 39004, 39008 or 37000
Version 8 - Only in Japanese consoles. SCPH-39000, or, SCPH-39006 (GH-022 BIOS 090)
Version 9 - if you have SCPH-50000, 50001, 50002, 50003, 50004, 50006, or 50007 you have a v9 or v10 board.
Version 10 - SCPH-5000x, with date code "3D" to the right and below the serial number on the back of the console. (GH-026 board)

NOTE: To know if its a v9/v10 start up PS2 with no game in it ,press triangle and check dvd driver version dvd ver 3.00 = v9 & dvd ver 3.02 = v10.

If your model # is SCPH-50000, 50001, 50002, 50003 or 50004 AND if you can find a small ''a'' under the SCPH number or have DATECODE "3C" you have a V9 PS2 main board. (GH-026 board).

If your model # is SCPH-50000, 50001, 50002, 50003 or 50004 AND if you can find DATE CODE "3D" as shown below, you have a V10 PS2 main board. (GH-026 board).

Version 12 - The new slimline PS2 consoles are referred to as PSTwo here, but elsewhere they are also known as "v12" units... their numbers are SCPH-70011/SCPH-70012, and also SCPH-70004 CB (Belgium).

Step 2 use either google or the link above. If you're using google your keyword search will be something like "ps2 v12 laser lens adjustment" *replace v12 with your ps2 model.

In either case navigate to the site and follow instructions to set the pots back to their factory default settings.
