Hi, I have Dell inspiron 1525. My laptop's screen colour distorted while I was working on it. Suddenly all the colours in the screen seems faded and spreaded..Nothing is visible clearly now. I tried re-starting the system. Its not the Windows problem as the distorted screen is visible while the BIOS flases on the screen. Could u please help on this?

Try taking the battery out then holding the power button down for 30 seconds (this clears the power in the machine), then power back on and hopefully should work.
if the same issue occurs in the BIOS your soluton is to have your LCD screnn replace or have your LCD inverte cable checked/replaced ^_^ this has nothing to do with the BIOS vodeo card drivers do not function in the BIOS to be able to do such in the BIOS screen
this colour fade up is due to two reason! first is, there might be any megnatic substance near your system. or else there would be an electric problem..............have a great da :-)
you should show your product to service center , if you are under warranty *(dont say it fallen) ,they solve the problem,i think it is not to run under this condition ,thanks its only guide not solution by me
