Assuming that the bad fuel has been cleaned away, check the fuel filter, air cleaner, and muffler for plugging. Turn both jet screws CW to stops (lightly) then back out CCW 1-1/2 turns each. This is a basic setting which should allow the engine to start and warm up. After warm, pull the throttle full on and turn the H jet needle CW until the engine starts to speed up. Final adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes at speed unloaded, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L jet needle CW until the engine idles fairly well, but still allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Hope this helps!

I can't start my home lite 26b blower

Mike if the Blower wont start, it's not the High/Low Jets.
They only adjust High RPM running and the Low helps the carb transition from Idle to High rev.
Ethanol gas is a carburetor destroyer... Also, it eats the gas lines .

Starts missing /large dead stop when accelerating

The missing while accelerating is likely due to ignition coils and/or spark plugs going bad. The missing while in park is a normal thing. The car has a rev limiter that will not allow the engine to rev to higher than 3000 RPM while in park.

My 1986 Ford F-150 5.0 EFI runs good, but when I start it it revs to 1700 rpm untill I give it a little gas then it drops to normal rpm. How do I stop it from the high revs when started?

Does it rev high when started cold or hot? If it does it either hot or cold, check the throttle position sensor on throttle body. If that is not bad, then check the automatic choke sensor.

Engine cutting out intermitantly at high revs. Gets worse as engine gewts hotteR. the only coincidental is Ihave just put new rings in and it has started since then. Any Ideas - Andy

Most likely, your main jet nozzle is clogged- causing the engine to starve for fuel at high revs. Remove carb, take the bowl off the bottom and locate the main jet. The main jet is screwed into the main nozzle, which you can't see until it's removed. Remove the nozzle(brass tube with holes down sides that your slide needle goes into) and clean the nozzle and jet thoroughly. Its a good idea to do the rest of the carb the same way while you're at it. Replace the carb. If the carb adjustments haven't been messed with, this should put your little katoom back screaming again.

When I push the gas pedal the RPM's rev really high and it takes a little time for the gear to catch.

The RPM's are revolutions per minute. So when you step on the gas, the RPM's should rev high. Not going into gear is a safety feature,

CBR 400 NC29 not pulling through rev range

The carb has serveral jets for different Rpm ranges. If you have a problem with one range, that specific jet is probably blocked. Idle jet, low jet, intermediate jet, high jet. some bikes have more. Sounds like a jet problem to me Run Seafoam cleaner in a couple tanks.

Carburator came lose from the head retighted it mess with jets

Turn the screws cw until they bottom then turn each out 1 and 1/4 turn. This should be enough to start engine. Then get max rpm by holding throttle down and adj. the H screw. Then adj the L screw until you get proper idle. You may then have to adj the H switch again to get max rpm.
