Dvd player wont open

Gonna need three wire connector (is red/white and yellow, yellow for video, red for right sound channel, white for left sound channel). Standard, and sold at either Walmart or Radio Shack.

There is a tiny hole in the front of cdrom/dvd players. use a straightened paper clip to push into the small hole to mechanically open the drive.

Unlock region code for Sanyo HV-DX350A DVD/Video player.
1. Turn on unit
2. Select DVD
3. Open tray
4. Press 0520 then in sequence press arrow up, down, left and right.
5. The region management screen is displayed on your monitor ( Code is displayed on the unit LCD display).
6. Note - Your current EEPROM region code setting is displayed on the screen.
7. Enter desired Region Code ( 0 for multi region).
8. Press PAUSE to exit.
9. Turn power off and turn on again.

If you repeat steps 1 to 4, you can view your new setting.

power off for about 1 Hour, disconnect from T/V.
reset it back up, should return to factory default settings.

Press the open button down for 5 sec and the dvd player will say unlock and then you can hit the open button and the tray will open. I just did this. IT WORKED YEAH!!!!

Push and hold down the Open/Close button until "UN-LOC" appears on the FL display (or "Disc Tray Unlocked" appears on the TV screen).

the "LOCK" feature disables the front panel buttons. Press "LOCK" on the remote control to LOCK/ULOCK.

Press and Hold EJECT Button, While UNLOCK Is Displayed :-)

Hold the open/close button on the set down until it unlocks and the tray will open in about 10secs.

To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears.   The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button. 

 

To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
