How to Default Duplex Scanning

Is there a way to default duplex scanning (in the scanner settings) rather than having to go through the wizard and selecting duplex scanning each time I use the scanner?

Will Only Scan Color and single sided

Once I had a similar problem with CapturePerfect 2.0. No amount of setting will change the scan output. I hit the default option and then changed to the setting I wanted. It worked. May be there is a bug in the Scanning software.

Cancel double sided copying

Slide the DUPLEX switch to the one sided mode on the ADF.

Also you should be able to set the single and dula sided mode from your scanning application in the setup tab.

Fi-5750C Fujitsu scanner can't change grayscale default setting

Photoshop is not an "advanced" scanning program. To get some "production" and value out of this expensive scanner you need a professional scanning program which also may control the settings of the scanner. Use PixEdit which utilizes the built-in jpeg compression in the scanner. Did a test scanning 10 pages A4 duplex fullcolor. Adobe Acrobat Pro used 4 minutes. PixEdit used 20 seconds. Guess Photoshop (in your version) would also scan uncompressed and not use this good scanner optimal.

Scanner is not reading multiple pages...

Check your scanning software settings. If you are getting only one file output, then you must have chosen 'multipage' option.

No duplex scanning

Try going to the hp solution center
Then settings, scan settings, scan preferences (third from top), under the automatic tab, bottom of list is “Scan both sides of the original when using duplex feeder”
I’m using version 70.0.128.000 of the HP Solution Center if that helps.

I told my brother once to ask HP support about a problem for his laptop, and they proceeded to instruct him how to make the problem worse and royally screw up stuff that was completely unrelated to his problem.

Duplex Scanning

I havent used WYNN wizard. I use Capture perfect ver 2.0 it is available free of cost. Try with it. If it is okay, then may be some setting is missing. If it remains same, then there be some hardware issue in the scanner.

Duplex Scanning

If the line appears in the same location, it is definitely dust sticking to the glass. How thick is it? If it is thick, it may be because of an LED failed to glow, but this is etremely rare. If you are getting line in Duplex mode and not in simplex mode, it is on the second scanning module! Try cleaning with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA). If you have been scanning old documents which tend to break like biscuit or get powdery, a speck can enter into the scanning area and create trouble.
