There are 3 common causes why a computer hangs or locks up.

1. Overheating - kapag nag-oover heat ang cumputer, naghahang ung computer, or ung processor.
2. Incompatible or corrupted device driver or system file
3. Faulty RAM (Random Access Memory)

Para macheck mo kung related sa overheating ung unit, punta ka sa BIOS setup (either pressing F2, Del, F10.. just after ng manufacturer's logo..depende sa brand ng computer). Pag naghang siya sa BIOS, pacheck mo nalang sa computer technician due to motherboard/cpu issue. Pwede mo rin pacheck baka loose connection ng RAM mo, or faulty at kelangan na palitan.

For incompatible or corrupted driver or system file naman, reinstall mo lang ung driver (usually graphics driver ang cause ng freezing) or reinstall mo ung operating system (xp, vista, 7 or linux)

First open cpu cabinet refix RAM memory.
Then when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode.
Then go to start menu then type in run "chkdsk /r"
then press "y"
then restart then it fiox error on harddisk.
Then if still same issue then you have to need recovery disk.
Boot your computer with recovery disk and then repair your vista.
For booting when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" then ente rin bios .
Then go to boot option and set first boot device as your cd or dvd rom then save settings and exit.
Then put recovery disk so it boot with disk.then follow the procedure then repair vista.

When you power up press F8 key then ente rin enable vga mdoe.
Then go to contro lpanel and then open dispaly property then change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok.
Then restart it.

First make sure that the computer is not overheating. If that’s not it take a look at how much memory you have on your computer Vista takes up a lot of space so that could also be what is going on you might need to go back down to XP or get more memory.
