We have a Konica 350 Bizhub as a network printer. When a small PDF file is sent to the printer, i.e. 215KB, the printer takes 30 seconds or more to receive and print one page. When the printer status is checked, the file size being transmitted appears to be tremendously larger than the original file submitted for printing, i.e. the 215KB has increased to 32MB. Any idea as to what could be happening and any suggestions on how to resolve the problem? Help!

Kevin, the unit is a 350 and the PCL driver is being used. When I send the file to be printed it takes several minutes for the first page to print. After that it takes a minimum of 30 seconds to print a page. A printer icon is in the tray and when it is clicked on a printer status window appears and indicates data is being transmitted and indicates the amount of data that has been or is being transmitted and how much the file contains, i.e. 8.2MB/32MB. The first number is constantly updating although at a rather slow rate.
We are also having the same issue. When I send a PDF to be printed from the e-mail it takes time till it goes through all the pages & then it dosen't pribt right away
the file I want to print is 36"x74". The file prints on the default size 36"x48" but doesn't work on the larger size I set up as a custom size. Any suggestions?
