Where do I find the serial number on my 5250 printer?

Ok, here is what you do to replace the gray paper feed at the back of the ESP 5250:
Hold the part with the flat side up and the rollers should be facing you. Note that there are 2 pegs on the right side, one smaller than the other. Now look at the back of your printer, you may need a flashlight, and find 2 square holes, one smaller than the other on the right side of the printer. Guide the pegs on the part into the
holes on the printer (right side) .Then push the left side of the part into the left side. Note that the part does not snap in. What you do is push the part to the left as far as it will go to hold it in place.
You should now be able to print.

The problem coming because there is some paper jam in side the printer. Remove the toner cartridge and look inside the printer for any paper jam.

There are two numbers that are important on a Kodak printer:

1) Serial number - located at the bottom of the printer and starts with "CN".

2) Service number - Located where you remove the cartridges, to the left on a white sticker

The 5250 auto adjusts the sharpening and contrast, as well making black point adjustments. Those adjustments cannot be turned off so you are stuck with them. Whatever changes you make in a photo editing program will be worthless because the changes will ALWAYS be undone by the 5250.

I have the same problem. I think my printer is being sabotaged because I keep ignoring the request to register the printer. I'm going out to buy another printer, but it damn sure will not be a Lexmark.
