You probably fried the magnetron.Unless you have a really high dollar microwave,you're probably better off replacing it.

Since you didn't mention the model number, I have to be kind of general.

If you mean the flame sensor or oven cavity thermostat, they are usually located on the top of the cooking cavity, so you would first have to remove the oven from the wall mount if it's an over the range type.

If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

The fuse on this model is located on a small filter circuit board, which should be located just behind the grille.

But if the fuse is good, you may have a failed oven cavity thermostat or magnetron thermostat.
There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit
behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

you may have some arching inside where your magnatron is located.If you open the door on the right middle part there is a silverplate on the wall .If it is burned you may need to replace magnatron.if you do not seee burn marks it may still be the magnatron hope.that would be the only possible thing that would make the noise other then the mtor plate out of place.
