Paper jumping problems - Epson LX-300+ II Matrix Printer

Do you use a required paper substance, this also a cause of paper jump, Or this machine maybe need a general cleaning to all each parts because the sensor that cause to paper jump is not function well. You should properly seat all the parts after cleaning it. and if this not resolve then, to drive an hour to the repair tech maybe is the best solution.

Open the right side door and check for proper insertion of Paper dust remover beside transfer roller. Not proper inserted Paper dust remover cause paper to jumping register roller.

Jumped through outside the tray? Plz, describe more clearly. Epson T60 is "best design" in paper feeder for A4 size printer. I have a lot.

What is your printer? I guest it is HP. :D

may be you ever pull paper when the printer is paper jump hardly. So the led cencor inside the printer is not in that place.

 

You can fix it with open your printer. or bring to printer service center

There is a small white gear that drives the fuser module. It wears out at 30 to 40 thousand pages.
If the sound is a jumping to gringing noise that would be the problem.
That gear jumping will cause the machine to say out of paper,, jam,, give all kinds of problems from things bouncing around.

More possible for printer not feeding is paper jump, and stock up jump sensor, look hook type near roller sensor mechanism if still free in move, or if dirt, then try to feed paper manually and look for any obstruction.
