It is symptom of ccd imager chip failure in your Canon A75 camera, replacement of ccd imager chip by local camera repair shop will solve this problem and camera will start showing live view in camera mode to take fresh pictures. Hope these info will help you. Thanks.
Its a camera CCD Problem. If the View finder & LCD both showing black then its 100% CCD problem. Let me know Lcd also black? Also make sure lens is not covered by any thing.
BAD CCD problem if u take pics and those are blank and u have bought camera recently kindly run for warranty it is a bad ccd imager problem it will be replaced dont worry

If u r unable to see live picture on LCD screen in camera mode, it means CCD Imager of camera isn't working. Contact nearest Sony service shop for proper solution because it requires CCD Imager replacement.
Sounds like your 'preview' feature has been turned off in your camera settings. With the camera turned 'on,' press: "Menu," then press the joystick button until you reach the pencil, which is your, "Custom Setting Menu." Then press down on your joystick to reach, "Image Review." Now press the joystick to the right to select, "Image Review," and press up on the joystick to get to, "Image Review On," and then press, "OK." If that doesn't do it, please let us know.
