My Toshiba 27AF41 TV is all greens & blues. I can't seem to get the reds back in. When I try to adjust the tint, it doesn't change colors; it stays the same. Any suggestions?

I have no clue how to do this. I do not have soldering tools nor do I know how to take the TV apart.

I do not understand the solution I have been given. I do not have a soldering tool nor would I know how to use one. I cannot get my TV to show reds at all. Do you have a solution I could understand?

Well, I don't know if it is or not but I'm going to accept it because I'm not willing to take it in for repairs since it is too old to spend any money on. We are planning on getting a new TV after the holidays. I was just hoping for a quick fix to get us thru to Januray.

Did you eliminate the simple and obvious first? Change the cables and the devices you are connecting to the television to see if they are at fault to rule out faulty cables and/or a faulty signal source. If the device connected to the television is not the problem and the cables connecting the device to the television are not the problem you will need to engage the local repair shop to complete the soldering for you.

I can't seem to correct a tint problem. The tv turns on and the tint doesn't change. A friend says it could be a vidoe card?

Go to menue on controller, then Picture, then adjust Color and Tint to you taste. The color ajusts Blue and Green move left more blue move the slider right more green. The Tint controlls red. More red move right less left. Also chech Color temp setting.

Green tinted people

The only time I have had issues like this was because of the Component Cables not being in the right position (the Red and Blue connections switched), or a bad Component Cable where the Blue Connection is not receiving a signal. Swap out the cable to be sure and double check that it is properly installed. Green to Green, Red to Red , Blue to Blue.
Hope this helps,

Color changed suddenly, no red, just green/yellow/blue

Sounds like the color wheel has gone bad and needs to be replaced. This is located behind the back panel.
