No check your settings. You may try to unplug it for about a minute and then restart. If that doesn't work, call the mfr. they should help since it is new.

that is the drainage hole where water can pass out from .

If this freezer is running all of the time and only freezing the walls at the top inside it is a good chance there is deteriation in the piping in the walls eg (rusty pipes) letting the refridgerant escape (common fault) with chest freezers.If it is more than 7 years old it would be advisable to replace it as the repair would probably cost 3 quarters of replacement price.Hope this helps. I am not aware of a chest freezer that is auto defrost.Go ahead and defrost it like you would any chest freezer. Eric

Do not put a towel on your freezer or anything that could prevent a good seal from top of freezer.

youyr best bet would be to build a frame that the casters are welded to and there are no holes in the outer shell of the freezer. some L shaped angle would work nicely for this application and then there would be plenty of support for when the freezer is loaded up with product. Be sure that teo of the casters are lockable and two in the swivel freely.

That would depend on the size of the freezer. If it's a compact 5-7 cubic feet, then its not necessarily needed, but if it is a large freezer I would recommend buying the hose adapter. The basic function for the hose adapter is draining the water after defrosting the freezer.

So if it's a large freezer that will not be moved, then YES by all means, you need the adapter.
