I can't pause or rewind my moveie

fktrejo,

When you try to use the DVR features, do you get an error message (024 or 311)? Have you unplugged your 625 receiver yet? If not, unplugged the receiver for about 10 seconds and plug back in. This will cause the receiver to reboot and acquire satellite signal. When the picture comes back on, try to pause. If it still doesn't work, we may need to replace the 625 receiver. I hope this helps.

I love my bc796d and i have had it for about 4 years? My question is concerning the delay when scanning channels and i always keep it on 4 second delay. I would like to have it delay longer and thats where...

Setting DELAY for All Search Ranges
You can set the scanner to have a delay after the end of a transmission before searching
resumes. This slows searching, but helps you prevent missing replies on a frequency.
1:SERVICE OPTION → :CHAIN SEARCH → 3:DELAY
1:NONE
The delay is turned off.
2:1 SECOND
The delay time is 1 second.
3:2 SECONDS
The delay time is 2 seconds.
4:4 SECONDS
The delay time is 4 seconds.
28
5:INFINITE
When the scanner stops on a transmission, you must press RSM to resume
searching.
6: -2 SECONDS
The scanner only stops on transmissions for 2 seconds, then automatically
resumes. To hold on the transmission, press /HOLD during the 2-second pause.
7: -5 SECONDS
The scanner only stops on transmissions for 5 seconds, then automatically
resumes. To hold on the transmission, press /HOLD during the 5-second pause.
8: -10 SECONDS
The scanner only stops on transmissions for 10 seconds, then automatically
resumes. To hold on the transmission, press /HOLD during the 10-second pause.

Describe how to use the self timer on the samsung S830 digital camera

Make sure you're in a recording mode other than VOICE.

Press the Self-Timer button (right button) until the display shows the desired mode. Your choices are 10-second mode (the camera takes a picture ten seconds after you press the shutter button), 2-second mode (the camera takes a picture two seconds after you press the shutter button), and Double-self-timer (the camera takes a picture ten seconds after you press the shutter button, then takes another two seconds later).

You can cancel the self-timer mode by pressing the Self-Timer button again.

The 10-second mode allows you to run back for a group picture. The 2-second mode is useful when you want to take a picture without fear of camera shake; simply place the camera on a steady support such as a tripod. The Double mode increases the chances of getting a picture with everybody's eyes open.

How to use selftimer on Samsung S630

Hey hpnotiq_babe,
Directions on how to set the self timer on this camera are on page 27 of your camera manual. I have included a link to a PDF download of your camera manual in case you need it. I have copied the instructions on how to set the self timer on your camera below. I hope this helps!

● Selecting the self-timer
1. Rotate the MODE DIAL to select a RECORDING
mode with the exception of VOICE RECORDING
mode.
2. Press the SELF-TIMER button until the desired
mode indicator displays on the LCD monitor.
A 10 second, 2 second or double self-timer icon
appears on the LCD monitor. In Movie Clip mode,
only the 10-second self-timer will work.
•2SEC self-timer ( )
: Pressing the shutter button will allow an
interval of 2 seconds before the image is
taken.
•10SEC self-timer ( )
: Pressing the shutter button will allow an
interval of 10 seconds before the image is taken.
•Double self-timer ( )
: A picture will be taken after about 10 seconds and 2 seconds later a
second picture will be taken. When using the flash, the 2-second self-timer
may be delayed for longer than 2 seconds depending on the flash charge
time.
3. When you press the SHUTTER button, the picture will be taken after the
specified time has elapsed.

Sound but no picture

Apparently your TV doesn't support the progressive mode (480p). You should be able to turn it off by pressing the pause button on the recorder for about 5 seconds, untill it turns off I guess. Hope it works
