I now have my Laserjet 1300 paired with a Windows 7 system. For some reason I cannot print more than one copy at a time from any of my applications. If I select one than one copy for printing, the system still will print only one copy. I am using a USB interface.

Hi Jcerny1!
This is what you should do:
Press the Start button and go to "Printers", and then right click on your printer (should appear as HP LaserJet 1300), and "Properties". Go to "Device Settings" and find Job Storage and Mopier Mode (they are at the bottom of the window). They're probably set to Enabled , so you need to choose Disabled for both (Job Storage and Mopier Mode). Click Apply and OK. Try printing multiple copies now. If it doesn't work, trying rebooting the computer and then trying to print again. It should work now.
Good luck!

HP LaserJet 4100 for all applications in windows 7. When I go to print a document and click on print. The print screen exits, the print job doesn't processes, and the print queue stays empty. Noth

I have Windows 7 and I found that running troubleshoot on the printer works most of the time and keeps me from having to shut everything down.

Go to
  • Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Devices and Printers
  • In the upper left of the window select File
  • In the drop down list select Troubleshoot
This usually fixes the problem, really empties the printer queue, and I don't have to shut everything down.

I have an HP color Laserjet 3700 attached via USB to Windows 7. It prints 1 copy successfully. When I try to print 2 or more copies it tries to select paper from tray 1 (which doesn't exist) and then...

To Disable Mopier Mode: Windows 7
01. Click the start button.
02. Click Devices and Printers.
03. Right click your Printer.
04. Select Printer Properties.
05. Click the Device Settings Tab.
06. Scroll down to the bottom. If necessary, expand Installable Options.
07. Click on Mopier Mode.
08. Select Disable in the selection box that appears.
09. Click Apply.
Mopier Mode should now be disabled and you should now get multiple copies.
I hope this helps
