Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6700TW1 skips wash cycle and stops after 14 minutes to oL

oL is an Overload error. Try running a cycle empty.

If oL (overloaded) appears in display, the load too large. If an overload is detected, the washer will drain any water and detergent in the washer. Remove several items and add HE detergent. Close lid and press START/PAUSE.

11027082604 ol error. Wash cycle will not complete cycle. Have to start back in rinse ans spin to complete. It rinses and spins fine, but i have to do this everytiem i was a load.

OL error code

Hi jbrundage1. I believe you have a UL error code on the washer. It means that the sensors in the washer are sensing the unit is unbalanced. When the washer is empty, set it to a spin or rinse and spin setting. Run the washer through the cycle empty, as it will help to remove any excess water in the tub. Also, make sure the washer is level, as it is balanced on springs, and that could be throwing the sensors off. I hope these suggestions prove helpful. Hi, the OL code means Overloaded..
OL flashes when the machine/motor control detects a load size that exceeds the washer's capacity.Open the door lid to clear display, remove excess laundry, then restart the cycle.

We have a newer Whirlpool Cabrio washer and no matter how many clothes we put into it we always get a ol error.

GE Profile washing machine not finishing cycles

the OL error is for over load.that is when you over load the clothes in the washing machine. If your washer doesn't spin or agitate on either the delicate or regular cycle, check these:

Selector switch
Clutch assembly
Drive motor
Selector switch If your washer has a selector switch on the control panel, make sure the button for your selection is pressed all the way in, or set properly.

Clutch assembly Many GE®/Hotpoint® washers use a clutch and an automatic shift lever. This assembly is quite complicated. If there's a problem with it, you probably should contact a qualified appliance repair technician.

Drive motor Many washing machines have multiple-speed drive motors. Though it's uncommon, the drive motor may work fine on one speed but not on another. If the drive motor has failed on one speed, you need to replace the entire motor.

Hi

Error OL means that the washer has sensed an overload (OL) condition. It can also be a false error code appearing due to faulty lid switch. Sometimes this error code appears when lid is not closed/opened properly. You can check the lid switch for any disconnections, if the connection to lid switch is fine then use a multimeter to check the continuity of the lid switch. If the lid switch is fine then there is a piece of clothing stuck between inner basket and the outer tub. Disconnect the washer from the power outlet and then try moving the drum with your hand and check if it turns freely or is offering any resistance. If it is not moving freely then it is due to rusted drive shaft or motor. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more assistance.
