Cheers, just refreshing the topic,
my gf used to have similiar model with 4g yota modem inside, i've opened mine many times and there's an empty slot indeed,thus nothing to put there yet,
i really wonder once 4g/3g modems're the same functionality in one laptop but i'll continue on that research

Ok, I stand corrected. I never knew this technology existed. I looked at your manual and it indeed shows a sim card slot. The manual also gives instructions on how to insert it and what you have to do to make it work.

I dont know how to use simcard slot in lenovo b460
If your laptop has a slot for the simcard, all you have to do is just insert it and wait until the system recognized the hardware. Hope it helps thanks.

Ask the SIM CARD dealer that your Card activated/deactivate when you purchase it. After clear that insert your sim card and wait for computer response.ie. New Divice found... Now got to control panel and select Network setting. Change them if it is not ready to use... thanks

I have insert my sim card into lenovo b460 laptop sim slot, but i am unable to access sim services,how can i use sim card?
As far as I am aware, the SIM slot is for storing secure data onto. Win7 has a very good encryption programme and requires either and external drive or SIM card to load it to.
