Your camera has only 10 MB available for picture storage using internal memory. An SD card of even 1 GB (tiny by today's standards) will hold 100x as many picture as your internal memory. If you already have an SD card,
1) Buy a larger memory card. These don't cost much and an 8, 16, or 32 GB card can hold a LOT of pictures.
If you want to increase the number of pictures you can store either with the current card or using internal memory, then you have a couple of other options.
1) change the picture size. Menu -> then up/down arrows to select Picture Size. Press the OK button. Select the option you want (6.1 MP, 5.4 MP, etc). Press the OK button.
The MP610 can read from SD Memory, SDHC, MultiMediaCard, miniSD, RS-MMC, microSD, CompactFlash and Microdrive, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo and xD-Picture cards.
Cards will the slots will appear as removable drives on your computer.
The CD40 uses MMC and SD cards. MMC cards are a dying breed, so I'd suggest SD cards. You can find those in a variety of sizes at just about any department, electronic, and office supply stores. You can probably find them at drugstores and supermarkets, as well. You can also buy them online.
Be careful to buy SD cards 2GB and smaller, not SDHC cards 4GB and larger. SDHC cards look identical but will not work in the CD40.
Check the owners manual for limitations on the external memory. Sometimes the MP3 player has a limit on external memory. Lets say 2 GB. Also make sure the lock switch is disengaged. Also try to reformat the player.
Simple either u can ask for a SD memory card or MMC memory card, the difference is that SD cards are bit costlier than MMC. Hoping a good rating from you.
you cant expect all mp3 players to play as many songs as u wnt. each mp3 player has a limit of memory card that needs to be attached. see whats the maximum memory your mp3 player can support. and also see if you can locate all the songs when the SD card is connected to your computer
