My picture is blurry, and words are blurry, what do i do

A blurry image on a high-definition LCD TV is typically the result of a mismatch between the TV's resolution capabilities and the resolution of the signal that is coming from connected devices, such as a DVD player or satellite TV receiver. Typically, blurry pictures result when a peripheral device connects to the TV through nonHD cables and jacks.

If your TV's connected devices do not have HD capability, they will transmit content to the TV in standard, analog signals. These types of signals are only capable of resolutions of up to 640 by 480 pixels. Pixels, for picture elements, are the tiny dots that make up the screen image. Most HD LCD TVs are capable of resolutions of as low as 1,366 by 768 pixels and as high as 1,920 by 1,080 pixels. When this big of a discrepancy occurs, the images display on the TV scaled, stretched and blurry.

LCT TV picture blurry with black smudges until it warms up

No easy way short of monitoring with a scope and or voltmeter, based on age of set I would first "look" at all the filter caps in the main power supply--bad ones when they get hot can regain some function:

Why is my tv blurry and distorted? We have reset all settings. Still blurry.

It looks like a light shining on the screen when you were recording the problem. Also, you are taking the picture from a bad angle for lcd types of tvs.Try a new recording, also get the tv on an HD channel for a better, clearer picture. Many hd tvs look bad on non HD channels.

Ok here you go, I needed to replace my lamp on my Sony KDF-50E3000, lamp XL-2500. Easy replacement, however now only the picture is HD and any words, at the bottom of the screen are blurry. The blurr...

Only getting HD has nothing to do with a lamp change. I would start by seeing if your antenna settings got changed. For example from cable to over the air antenna. As far as the blurry words on the bottom of the display, I think you didn't get the screen lined back up all the way.

Our Mitsubishi WD 52525 goes to blue screen and shuts off.

It sounds like you TV is overheating and the video is suffering and the lamp is overheating as well. Also, if your TV is over 2-3 years old, the mirrors (behind and below the big front screen) desperately need to be cleaned. Clean all filters and fans as well. (Look on side and behind the unit). Is the TV in a "hot" environment and/or dirty environment? DLP TV's are NOT sealed units. They need to be cleaned every few years to work well to have a good, clear, bright picture.

Blurry screen double vision picture

The convergence circuit has failed. It is not a easy fix due to the tear down needed to get to the circuit area. I would call Mitsubishi at 18003322119 to get a Authorized Service Facility to check it out and give you a estimate of repair cost.

Blury screen with rainbow image cannot read words on screen

The convergence integrated circuits have failed and most likely the 2 5A fuses have opened as well. I would find a local Mitsubishi service shop.
