    I have a dishlex Global 300.We went away for the weekend and when I returned the dishwasher was draining and the eco light was flashing.We left the door opened when we left, so it started by itself with the door opened.

    We could not get it to stop.My husband had to disconnect the power to get it to stop.

Some diswashers have a sump in the bottom with a float switch. If the water level overflows the float will activate the switch which will kill the machine and run the drain pump continuously.

The eco light is flashing constantly on my Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher, it is making a noise like a pump is running continously, but the unit will not operate. Can you give me some possible faults and...

Hi,

The symptoms on a Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher:
  • eco light is flashing constantly;
  • noise on pump running continuously;
  • but the unit will not operate.
Possible corrective actions include:
  • water level - pls check incoming water pressure, filter, water level sensor, water valve;
  • base/bottom overflow sensor - there is a float switch in the base of the machine inside a small plastic dish. Behind the kick panel, access through a metal lid/panel/cover secured by 2 small screws. Dry completely the area;
  • Air/dry/ventilate the unit/system for a couple of days;
  • reduce incoming water pressure.
Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Dishlex Global 300 Dishwasher - ECO Light flashing - Manual indicates incorrect fill level - Manual suggests hold ECO button for 10 Seconds. No success. Have tried pressing and holding buttons - no...

eco light sometimes indicates that water has got into the bottom panel of the machine. A float switch is underneath to protect the machine ( and your kitchen floor from being flooded. ( Either from overfilling or a leak) If you tilt the machine backwards see if any water runs out. If the machine restarts , then you will have sourced the problem. Should the flashing start again later, you may have a water leak underneath. Also check the lower door gasket to make sure its clean. If the gasket is dirty, sometimes water builds up behind the gasket and drips over the front of the tub into the bottom panel underneath causing this symptom. When cleaning the gasket, be very carefull!! The edges of the door at the bottom are razor sharp..

Our Dishlex Global 300 appears to be stuck in Pre-wash. The Eco light is flashing and the water has drained. All other buttons are unresponsive. I have just replaced the seals and handle assembly.

If your getting 120 volts to your dishwasher, I would first ohm out your thermal fuse for continuity, turn your breaker OFF to your dishwasher first.

Dishlex global 300 dishwasher, eco light flashing sounds like pump noise but not working

Try taking the dishwasher out of its wall space and tipping it back and forth. Apparently the weight of water gathering in some component triggers the 'eco' function. Failing that, last time it happened to my dishwasher i waited a week for the repair guy to arrive, by which time the water had evaporated and there was no longer a problem..

Hi. I have a Dishlex global 300 series and it starts going through the cycle ok but after about 5 minutes it starts to fill up again and the eco light starts to flash and it won't stop filling up and...

The operating manual says under problem solver thatin such a situation it has an incorrect fill level or fill time and recommends then the need for a service agent.

Try holding the start and programme buttons down at the same time until the machine beeps. This will reset it in case it is just a computer problem.
