No, it doesn't have Wireless capabilities. You will have to buy either a stick or a PCI card with a separate antenna if you need a better reception.

Packard Bell PB9000-32 tablet. The software says WIFI signal strong, it sees the network, but it will not connect? All the details for WIFI connection are correct?

Question heavily edited for typos!

WiFi only needs two things

The SSID, that is the name of the network. Mine is Bell 8200.
The WPA Password. This is usually a mix of 8 letters and numbers.

The details are usually on the Router or with the paperwork that came with it.

Packard Bell Dot S wifi

I recommend you repair your PC with the installation disk?USB that you used to install Windows. If this doesn't solve your problem, you can try the Troubleshooter option from the Control Panel. I also you recommend you to install drivers from the CD that you had obtained while buying the laptop or you can download from another PC to do it.

You might be using a lower version of OS in your packard bell computer. You will need to download and install a device driver for your hitachi HDD. Im not sure of the HDD model that you have but you can try searching the driver for the packard bell Operating system

Reinstalling windows on desktop

you will not be able to get the drivers for the packard bell computer, especially for windows XP. the computer was discontinued way before XP came out, as well as the company going out of business. There is a new packard bell company, but based in Europe only. In addition, when you use the HP cd, it will probably say not compatible with non-hp computers.
your best bet is to download you important information and store it on a new unit.
