Samsung Smart Wash B1245 I cannot open the door to remove my washing - the machine works correctly but something snapped in the door when I tried to open it on Saturday and now it is stuck. Is there a way to force the door open?

Yes I did find a solution :-)

Get a friend to pull the door open as far as it can go without snapping anything (there should be about a 1mm gap you can see down). There you will see a silver bar if you look closely which is the locking mechanism. Get a screwdriver and bash this quite hard until it budges and the door opens.

Once you have got the door open, you will see a bunch of screws to remove on the door. Remove all of these and buy a new handle http://www.4mysamsung.co.uk/cgi-bin/prod... and replace it.

Extremely simple when you know how! It took me hours to figure this out.
