MEMORY FULL ?? CD310CE

My camera is only 1 1/2 months old, and I've had problems after problems operating this thing. I used my camera and took a few pic's,(no problems) I downloaded the pics on my pc, then I deleted the pic on the camera memoryt card. Later I tried taking other pics, but I kept getting the message"check card protect switch", I can't figure this out, now the latest message I get while trying to snap another pic, "memory full" how can the memory be full, after I've deleted all previous pics ?I even installed brand new charged batteries, just in case the others were bad, but it made no difference.
Please help,
Lance

If your cam is using a sd card, the card could be locked, theres a little switch on the side of the card try using that and see wat happens. its tiny on one of the sides.

SD Card Problems with Vivitar Vivicam 5118!

What size is the memory card. If it's larger than 4GB then it won't work in the 5118.
Try using another card. Don't format it in your computer but do format it in the camera before trying to take pictures.

The camera will not turn on.

Things to check first for a camera that won't turn on are battery contact points, and micro switches that are located on the battery and memory card doors. Troubleshooting tips on other things that need to be checked may be seen here. These tips won't work for every case, but they're worth a try.

Kodak c180 camera 1 month old with 5 pics taken. When it's turned on it says "internal memory full" and will not take pics.

this camera has a SMALL internal memory, you need to buy a memory card for it , and then you can take thousands of pictures no problem . i had the same issue and the memory card fixed it immediately. :)

Can't take photo's

There should be 2 settings, 1 for internal memory, 1 for external (card) memory. Internal memory is always low, especially if camera is set to high quality photos so only a few can be taken. check your settings on picture quality.

Have a Canon EOS SLR

Reformat the card in the camera then try Also use the menu system with help from the manual to establish the file size/ file type The higher the resolution the few the images able to be stored/ RAW and Tiff give but few SHQ give more HQ give even more but each with declining quality. Which is only 2 month old Card or Camera or Both? Either way having tried the alternatives if still in trouble return the 2 month old item for replacement.

Try to use the CF in another camera to find out whether your problem is the CF or the camera. Good luck!
