My camera fell in the swimming pool. Will it still be fixed or no? thank you

Hi,
Your only hope is...
if you have not tried to start it yet...
then place it in a bag of dry rice, and change the rice a few times...
making sure the camera is completely dry before turning it back on...
Then maybe...

My son dropped his T Mobile phone into a swimming

I would go for it. Battery may be discharged. It is either going to work or not. Water damage is the worst thing tp predict. Circuits may have corrosion unless you have looked at the boards.

Dropped my camera in a pool of water in a glacier 12 months ago. I immediately took out the battery and memory card. I then spent 2 hours with a hair dryer drying the camera. Since then the camera has...

There is no relation between the two incidents that you explained. The recent problem might have occurred due to damaging of the lens. MY solution is to replace the objective lens ( lens assembly) and the motor ( if needed ). If it costs much, then go for a new one, since digital camera with high pixels rates are available cheaply now a days.

Camera dropped in snow

Where on earth do you find snow this time of year ? If moisture has got inside the camera, chances are it's ruined, I'm afraid.

Wet elph

That kind of submersion is usually a lethal thing, plus turning it on while still wet could deliver a nice killing blow, just to make sure it's dead... you passed current through conductive water spread inside the electronics. Don't mean to discourage you, there's always a chance, and you could take it for a shop to give you the final verdict, but if you told them what it went through there's a chance that they won't even bother opening it up. Sorry, at least life aint boring? ;[
