Symbol LS1203 scanner: is it possible to lower down the scan rate? We are trying to scan a generated barcode in MYOB and it does not read the <tab> function when scanned (it opens up another window in myob); however, it reads fine in Notepad but also does not read properly in Word nor Excel.

As the label comes out of the printer...it sounds like your printing in picket fence mode (vertical bars). You most likely have 1 or more pixels out on the printhead...try cleaning first...if that fails... you will have to replace the printhead.

Try starting the ScanWedge prior to opening the Internet explorer browser. ScanWedge can be found under the Applications partition.

Ensure that the label size in your MYOB and also the printer driver are set to the same as the physical size of your label. Also do a callibration on the printer.

All you have to do is create a rule to transmit only the 12 digits you want.
You can create a rule with the Programming manual or the 123scan software.
