Hello,

The internal memory included in the printer maybe damaged.

Maybe the image you try to print is too big and the memory of the printer does not admise this size of files.

I had the same problem with my first Artisan 700 after I replaced the ink cartridges. I worked with Epson support for about a week before they replaced my printer. My second printer worked fine through 2 cartridge changes and now does the same thing. I've just installed Windows 7 and installed the new drivers and it still does it.

When I try to scan something, it does the same thing, but I can print to a CD/DVD with no problems.

I'm thinking there is a design problem here.

Try the following to resolve this issue.

1. Check if same issue appears when using your Artisan 800 as a standalone copy machine.

2. Try printing from a different application to isolate the issue further. You can also print a windows test page to check if this issue is caused by the application that you are printing from or by the printer driver.

3. Reinstall Printer Driver.

My Artisan 800 was doing this and I realized it was because I was using three hole punched paper. I think the printer sees the top hole and thinks the paper has run out and cancels the rest of the page. Big engineering goof Epson.

Epson Artisan 710 won't print black

Hi,

The nozzle may be blocked. So take out the colour cartridge and place its nozzle in a bit of water for about 10 mins. Bring it out and dab the nozzle with folded paper. If the tissue is blotted with the three colour it means you have unblocked the nozzle. Try now to print after returning the colour cartridge. You may need to repeat to get good results..

If multiple pages feed at once, remove the paper from the tray, fan the edges to separate the sheets, then reload it. if Paper Jams Inside the Artisan 700 Series: Open the scanner. Remove the paper as shown, including any torn pieces. Squeeze the hooks and remove the cover inside the Artisan 700 Series. Remove the paper as shown, including any torn pieces Reattach the cover. Close the scanner. if after doing all of these still same issue persists, if the issue persists, call epson to get a replacement printer if the product is still 1 yr. from the date of purchase, if it is more than a year, most probably, thats out of warranty,

You need to download the Epson Scan software from Epson support web page http://www.epson.com (sorry, I cannot give you a direct link to the software since Epson uses session encoding in the URL).
The official name of your device is "Epson Artisan 700 All-In-One Printer", I assume.

With Epson Scan installed on your PC,any TWAIN compatible application should be able to use the scanner.

Because my Deskjet 932C wasn't printing at all, I downloaded a new driver for it from the HP site. Now it prints but prints only the top portion of a page -- sometimes about 1.5 inches, sometimes 3 inches,...

I would recommend uninstalling the installed driver from your system, disconnect the USB cable (if one is installed), reboot.

Once the system comes back up, turn off your anti-virus. Now install the printer driver again. Install the USB cable for the printer (if that's how you're connecting) and finish the install.

Re-enable your anti-virus.

Yes it is a print driver problem, Unplug usb, delete all previous attemps at install, delete print software and drivers, Download and install correct driver from HP, plug in usb only when directed to do so.
