If you're using a Windows based computer, you may follow the steps below:
1. Go to the Control Panel and double click the "Printers" icon.
2. Look at the HP Laserjet printer icon and make sure that the status is ready.
3. If not, right click on the printer icon and click on "Use printer online".
4. Right-click on the printer icon again and select Properties.
5. Click the "Print a test page" button under the general tab
If the same problem occur, check the printer manual and make sure that the printer is compatible with the OS of your computer. And be sure that you install the right driver of your printer to the computer.
Lastly, you may try to uninstall and re-install the printer driver.
