Just got a brand new vivicam 5018 and it will not upload pictures. Downloaded software and followed directions after comfirmation that the drivers were uploaded and ready. Only pics that came thru were the graphic pics for the camera itself. Changed to another USB port and same thing. What do I do?

most times you dont need software installed in the computer. With you camera plugged in and turned on, try to go to START / MYCOMPUTER and take a look. See if you can see there a drive which point to the camera.

try to connect the camera in a different usb port of the pc. that could also work.
The ViviCam 5018 does not charge batteries. It uses standard AA batteries. You may use either disposable or rechargeable batteries, but if you use rechargeables then you must use a separate charger.
Bring up the picture you want to delete and press the button with the picture of a garbage can...follow the on-screen instructions. If you want to delete everything on the card, go into the menu and scroll to "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.
